Im driving a Cobalt i listen to rap and i just went to a car audio place and they recommended JL 12s in a ported box for 0. any good?

ok i bought 2 sony 10" explods recently and 2 jensen 6.5" JS652 a long time ago. now that i got the subs, i was going to put it all in my truck but the stereo that i saw has 2 channels that have 160 watts each. is there a way to hook up the subs with a amp and the 2 speakers? also will the stereo kill the speakers, they are rated at 75 watts peak each and the stereo gives off 160 watts. This is my first time at all of this so i still dont know that much about this yet.

(yes i know the speakers are the cheapest ones there. but before i got the subs, i just wanted to replace the water damaged stock ones temporarly till i know what im going to actualy do with the stereo system)
